General Refund Guarantee
Cargo Express guarantees that all eligible refunds will be processed promptly and in accordance with the terms outlined in this policy. Refunds are always issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed with the customer.
Assurance Fee Refund
Cargo Express charges an Assurance Fee to protect your shipment throughout the delivery process.
Once delivery is successfully completed without the package being lost, Cargo Express will automatically refund 100% of the Assurance Fee.
This refund is issued without the need for customer action, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process.
Lost Package Refund
In the rare event that a package is confirmed lost in transit, Cargo Express provides enhanced protection:
Cargo Express will refund the full shipping cost, plus a compensation equivalent to the value of the shipment, effectively doubling the amount refunded to the customer.
This policy reflects our commitment to responsibility and trustworthiness.
Customs-Held Shipment Refund Conditions
If a shipment is temporarily held by customs, Cargo Express will monitor the situation closely until it is resolved.
When the issue is settled:
If the recipient paid the customs charges and the shipment is later released and delivered successfully, Cargo Express will automatically issue a refund in accordance with the policy.
A standard Customs Clearance Documentation Report will be sent to our supervisors to validate the situation, after which the refund process is initiated immediately.
Automatic Refund Processing
Cargo Express uses an internal verification system to ensure refund eligibility. Once the required shipment status or documents are confirmed:
Refunds are initiated automatically.
Customers receive an email confirmation with refund details and expected processing time.
Additional Considerations
To provide further protection and transparency, Cargo Express includes the following safeguards:
6.1. Delayed Shipments
If a shipment experiences excessive, unexplained delays beyond the guaranteed time frame, customers may request a partial refund, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
6.2. Damaged Shipments
If the package arrives damaged:
Customers may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the severity of the damage and the type of service purchased.
6.3. Incorrect Delivery
If a package is delivered to the wrong address due to carrier error, Cargo Express will issue:
A full refund, and
Additional compensation if the package is unrecoverable.
